High bootie

11.5 cm full leather bootie with a bold, triangular heel for visual tension. Featuring an elegant hidden zipper on the inside of the shoe.

Construction
By using transparent acrylic to support the heel, we were able to achieve the tension of a modernized triangular heel.

Height
The shoe was a popular showstopper, with its 11.5 cm height (+2 cm of hidden wedge) allowing the wearer to make a statement and a heel construction that provided enough stability for resolute walking.

High wedge - bootie and sandal

A special occasion shoe with an elevated feminine feeling.

Concept
Inspired by the curved lines of Frank Gehry’s architectural forms. This aesthetic was reflected in both the upper and wedge of the design.

Silhouettes
The concept began with a back-zipper bootie, and from there the design language evolved into further styles. The heel was printed on an FDM printer and tested before proceeding to the factory.

CMF
The heel was crafted with a chromed finish in silver, gold and gunmetal and finished with a leather stack effect. The upper ended up as a mixture of snake-embossed leather and warmer, richer tones.

High-heel and flat sandal

Simplicity in form and function. A hyper-geometric aesthetic introduced to both elegant wedges and everyday flat sandals.

Prototypes
Hand made prototypes were made from loose sketches in its ideation phase.

CMF
Color schemes were based on a seasonal summer palette. The elastic was specially developed with a variety of different colored threads to reflect seasonality.

Prototypes
From a batch of several sketches we chose the most attractive shape. Then, we tested that on the vacuum-formed plastic shape of the shoe last with handmade mockups. A sample was then made from where the shoe was wear-tested.

The goal of the platform was to elevate the heel while remaining comfortable and lightweight for extended wear. The curvature was not as steep as other references and was crafted with BPU material.
