Power dress watch

Dual timezone, jetset-ready women’s dress watch with a modern aesthetic. Menswear made chic.

Concept
Inspired by oversized menswear timepieces, the Duet watch incorporated a cleanly sculpted 38mm case silhouette with multi-function sub dials for optimal form x function appeal.

Design
Inspired by modern, minimalist furniture and vintage automotive design. The Porsche 356 was a formative influence on the dial language and a handful of the colorways. Fluent, curved and clean.

Dial
A softly sculpted dial was the primary pinnacle of our design treatment. We used a press-molded technique and curved applied markers to bring this aesthetic to life.

CMF
Rich, timeless colors like espresso browns and creams were offset by soft greys and light olives. Unique beige golds and bracelet platings added a nice pop of something extra.

Color contrast
Finding the right balance between deep leather tones, brushed metals and tasteful accenting was key.

Straps & bracelets
Leather straps with nubuck lining were supplemented with finer meshes and refined 5-link steel bracelets. Light browns and greys were chosen for the leather straps, and rich golds and gunmetals made their way into the links.

Final assortment
Six streamlined colorways embodied the final vision. The assortment reflected an attention to Spring/Summer seasonality, as well as a homage to MVMT’s usual core brand colors.
